The Kershaw Shallot 1840 is 4 3/8” closed, and keeps the very best design features of the Chive-Leek-Scallion series. The 410 stainless steel handle incorporates a positive framelock to prevent accidential closeing of the razor sharp blade during use. The rear handle has a reversible/removeable stainless steel pocket clip providing the carrier with tip-up or tip-down carry options. There is also a lanyard hole provided. A top quality pocket knife that opens as fast as any switch blade yet legal under the US Federal Switchblade laws. Ken designed the Shallot as the largest member of the series and has maybe saved the best for last.
